A refurbished play park has opened in Invercylde.
Birkmyre Park, located in Port Glasgow, was transformed from a demolished bowling green.
A public consultation was held in partnership with the Port Glasgow West Community Council.
Proposals were put forward to create a public park at the site.
The region has been completely landscaped and a new play area installed.
The park has also been fitted with seating areas.
Councillor Michael McCormick said: "This new park will be a great asset for the community allowing kids to enjoy the play area while the grown-ups take in the views of the Clyde.
"The former site had been unused for too long, and I am delighted we have been able to give it a new lease of life."
