Midlothian Council has 'unveiled' a redeveloped park at a special ceremony.
Over £154,000 has been spent to improve the landscaping, install new paths and upgrade the play area at Loanhead Memorial Park.
Half of the work cost was met by WREN, the landfill tax charity.
Developer contributions accounted for £21,000 while the council invested £60,000.
The ceremony was held on 16 June to open the newly refurbished park.
Attendees included Pat Kenny from Loanhead and District Community Council, Councillor Derek Rosie, Gala Queen Freya Newall, Alan McLaren of Loanhead Community Development Association and Jim McKay from WREN.
