West Dunbartonshire Councillors will decide next week if a nursery site in the region should be sold.

The Vale of Leven Austism and Asperger's Forum (VoLAAF) are interested in purchasing Renton Nursery.

A report is set go before a council committee on 17 June recommending that VoLAAF is chosen as the preferred option for the site.


The group has been using the centre since the Council provided it with a one-year lease in April 2014.

It is understood if councillors approve the sale, VoLAAF will buy the property for £25,000.

Any organisation that takes over the site must provide the council with funding arrangements for both the purchase of the property and its longer term maintenance.
