The new facility was funded by the council and includes areas for climbing, rocking, spinning, sliding, and swinging.
There are also areas for both older children and toddlers.
Councillor Ashay Ghai said: "It’s great to be launching this play park today and I think you can see from the faces of the children how much fun it’s going to be. A lot of thought has gone into the design and construction and there is so much for children of all ages to enjoy.

"This is the latest play park East Dunbartonshire Council has constructed over the last couple of years and we hope it will encourage children to get out in the fresh air and stay active."
Pupils from Mosshead Primary School worked with council officers on the development of the playground.
