A consultation is underway over proposals to improve an area of a town in Clackmannanshire.
The consultation is set up to gather community feedback on plans for the Tron Court area in Tullibody.
Current proposals include:
• External refurbishment of buildings in Blocks A and B.
• New glass canopies over shops.
• Removal of plant beds.
• Upgrading footpaths leading to Tron Court shopping precinct.
• Upgrading of lighting to the shopping precinct, existing car park and lane.
• Installation of pedestrian crossing at north side of Main Street near the Inn.
• Installation of 'table top' surfacing to aid pedestrians, wheelchair & motability scooters.
• Removal of lock up garages & other car park alterations to provide additional parking spaces along with more on street parking.
• New drainage provision and street landscaping within Tron Court shopping precinct.
The plans are part of the council's Making Clackmannanshire Better Programme.
Work is estimated to start in August 2015.
