SSE Enterprise Named Finalists At BCIA Awards

SSE Enterprise Energy solutions is among the finalists of the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) Awards 2015.

Projects that SEE has worked on with the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and West Yorkshire Police have been nominated for the 'Technical Innovation of the Year – Project' award.

The company provided building energy management solutions (BEMS) for West Yorkshire Police across three new sites and also administered a similar systems for Northumbria's Healthcare new specialist emergency care hospital in Cramlington.

Energy Solutions has also been nominated for the BCIA Energy Management Award for its work with Glasgow City Council.

The IT solution provided for the council saved 1,300 tons of CO2, 2.45 GWh of energy and £231,000 in energy costs at 29 schools between April 2014 and January 2015.

The BCIA Awards will take place on 14 May at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth.
