Murray and Burrell has completed an extension of a primary school in the Scottish Borders region.
The new extension at Westruther Primary School was officially opened at the end of April.
Pupils unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion.
Additions to the school include a new office, reception area and pupil entrance. A new double sized classroom along with a refurbished nursery has also been developed.
Council architects designed the extension and the £370,000 cost was founded by the councils capital programme.
Michael Stevenson, Chair of the school's Parent Council, said: "The children, parents, teachers and the wider community are over the moon with this new extension and the resultant reorganisation of the school facilities."
Headteacher of Westruther, Kay Livingston, said: "We are thrilled with the accommodation our new extension has given us."
