A stretch of the B818 1.5 miles west of Fintry will be closed for four weeks on 11 May.
This is due to work being carried out as part of a £2.5 million project to provide households in Stirlingshire with clearer, fresher drinking water.
Contractor Farrans are rehabilitating 3.7 miles of water mains, installing 7.5 miles of news mains and cleaning a total of 21 miles of mains.
Upgrades to water pipes will also be carried out to reduce the risk of burst pipes.
A local diversion for traffic will be in operation on the A875, A811 and B822 in both directions.
The work started in 2013 and is expected to be completed by late summer.
