Scotland TranServ are set to carry out over £100,000 of improvement works to the eastbound M8 at Southbar.
Junctions 30 and 29 are being developed on behalf of Transport Scotland.
Resurfacing works will take place overnight from 8 May until 10 May with the eastbound carriageway being closed during this period.
The diversions to be put in place are:
• M8 eastbound traffic will leave at junction 30 and be diverted via Spectacles interchange to the A726 onto junction 29, St James Interchange.
• Erskine Bridge traffic heading for M8 eastbound are advised to leave at Spectacles interchange via the A726 to junction 29, St James Interchange.
Contract Director for Scotland TranServ, Gordon Wilson, said: "These essential repairs will help improve the road surface of the M8 Southbar between Junction 30 and 29 and benefit those using the route for years to come.
"We are making every effort to minimise disruption to road users therefore our teams will be on site and working overnight when traffic flows are lighter."
