Perth and Kinross Council has invited residents to attend a second stage of design workshops for the western expansion of Perth City.

The workshops will be held on 28 April.

The exhibition will display the findings from the first event, or charrette, as well as an initial concept plan of the project.

The event allows communities to take part in planning developments, with interactive design workshops and presentations where the public, design professionals and project consultants work together to develop a detailed masterplan for the area. It is hoped the development for Perth will stimulate economic growth and provide additional housing and school in the area.

The workshops will be held between 3pm and 8pm at the Huntingtower Hotel next week (28 April).
