Council Invites Tenants To Attend Focus Groups

North Lanarkshire Council has invited tenants to attend focus groups from the 24th to the 27th April 2015.

The events are being held to help shape North Lanarkshire's new Tenant Participate Strategy for 2015-18

The groups will include both tenants and housing staff, offering feedback on improving participation from tenants and residents to get involved across local communities.

Furthermore, recent developments including the Scottish Social Housing Charter, how landlords report on the Charter and how the Scottish Housing Regulator feeds back on their landlord report will also be updated to the groups.


Opinions on what the council needs to change in terms of their current strategy are also welcomed.

Pamela Humphires, Development Manager, said: "These focus groups are just one of the ways we work with our staff and tenants to help shape future strategies and the services we deliver.

"By getting involved, staff and tenants can make a real difference to tenant participation both at a central and local level."

The groups are being held on Friday 24th April from 2.00-3.30pm in the Edward Lawson Centre, Coltness Road, Wishaw and Monday 27th April from 2.00-3.30pm in Coatbridge Community Centre (within St. Andrews High School, Coatbridge).
