West Point Homes Helps Fund Playground

A £55,000 playground project partly funded by West Point Homes has opened in Thorn Park.

The community facility in Bearsden, East Dunbarton, was created as part of the Council's 5 year Capital Play Programme. West Point Homes funded the project as part of the Scotus College Development.

Officially launched by Councillor Asha Ghai, the park is built using Robinia wood and contains a dedicated toddler area as well as swings and climbing frames for older children.

Councillor Ghai said: "Our sincere thanks go to West Point Homes who made this project possible, supplying support funding. I am delighted to launch this play park. I’m sure it will be here for many years to come and will bring lots of smiles to lots of little faces."
