Historic Triple Kirks Office Redevelopment Scrapped

Aberdeen's historic Triple Kirks will no longer be redeveloped for offices, according to a report by the BBC.

It is understood that developer Dandara has said that its office redevelopment plan has been scrapped in favour of a new proposal for student flats.

The company said that it was "responding to a change in market conditions, with supply now outstripping demand for offices".

The historic building, built in the 1800s, has been derelict since the 1970s and has been the focus of a number of development proposals.

Dandara will continue to work with Aberdeen City Council on a new development plan.
