More than 300 homes have been proposed for Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.
It is understood Barratt Homes has submitted plans to construct 315 new homes in the city. They would be built on the Ness Castle site and consist of two-, three- and four-bedroom terraced, semi-detached and detached properties. An access road to the Holm Roundabout would also be created under the plans, according to reports.
In addition, land would also be made available for the local authority to deliver a new primary school in the area.
