Stewart Milne Group has confirmed it plans to create more than 250 new jobs. The roles will be filled over the next 12 months.
In a statement, the housebuilder said the jobs would support the growth in its homes and timber systems divisions.
The positions will be for cost estimators, skilled tradespeople, quantity surveyors, site managers and architects, and will be located throughout the firm's divisions in Scotland and the north-west of England.
The Aberdeen-based company currently employs 800 people, as well as over 2,000 subcontractors over its UK operations.
Glenn Allison, Chief Executive of Stewart Milne Group, is quoted as saying: "This is an enormously exciting time to be working in the construction sector, as we bring premium new homes projects forward to meet market demand and continue to grow our timber systems business.
"Many people probably do not appreciate the full range of skills and expertise that our business encompasses but our recruitment this year will include the full spectrum, spanning joiners, electricians, plumbers and roofers through to design, cost estimating, contracts management, HR and finance."
