Keyline has announced the opening of a national rail sales office for Scotland.
The firm, a specialist supplier of rail materials, has said the new office will be dedicated to supporting customers working on all Scottish rail contracts – including major improvement schemes currently underway.
Keyline Rail's activity was all previously centralised at the company's office in Northfleet in Kent, but this expansion will allow Keyline to offer localised market knowledge to significantly enhance customer service for Rail sector customers in Scotland.
The Scottish Rail Office, which is situated in the centre of Glasgow, will be led by Sean Kerr. Mr Kerr has a number of years' experience in the Civils and Specialist Rail materials market, and formerly worked in Keyline's national sales office covering a broad range of products.
Richard Wade, Head of Rail at Keyline, said: "Many of our Rail customers in Scotland were telling us that they felt that Keyline's service would be improved with the addition of a Scottish Keyline Rail Office.
"With the growth of Rail work and Keyline's commitment to excellent customer service, I am delighted that we are able to give our Rail customers in Scotland the support they need."
Mr Kerr added: "In this more specialised role, I can give customers the benefit of my in-depth product knowledge and wide experience of the construction industry."
