Superglass Appoints New Managing Director

Superglass Insulation Ltd has announced the appointment of Ken Munro as its new Managing Director.

The firm, which has its headquarters in Stirling, added that Mr Munro would take up the newly-created position with immediate effect.

Munro will be responsible for the running of all operational and trading aspects of the Superglass business. He will report directly to John Colley, Chairman, while CEO Alex McLeod will be responsible for PLC matters.

Mr Munro joined Superglass in September 2013 with responsibility for Strategic Development and Sales, having held leadership roles in NCR Corporation and Havelock Europa plc.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Colley said: "Ken has already made a significant contribution to the Superglass business and the Board are confident that he is the best candidate to take the company forward."

Mr Munro added: "Superglass is well positioned to take advantage of recovering markets with a strong team and a broadening product portfolio. I look forward to leading the business in what promises to be an exciting chapter in its ongoing development."
