Housing Association Submits Planning Application

Planning permission to build a number of new homes on a site in Glasgow have been submitted by New Gorbals Housing Association.

According to Scottish Housing News, the group proposes to construct new infill housing on the site of two demolished tower blocks on Sandiefield Road.

Designed by Elder & Cannon architects, the project is part of a wider redevelopment of the block, which would also include new housing association offices plus a health centre.

If the application is approved, work could commence on site as early as Autumn 2015.
