Progress is continuing on a council housing development in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.
The £2.2m project will see 20 new homes delivered on the site of the former Belvidere Primary School. The properties are a mix of two-bedroom cottage flats and bungalows.
The energy-efficient properties have also been designed to be adaptable for tenants with disabilities. It is anticipated the homes will be completed in autumn 2015.
Commenting on the development, Councillor Sam Love, Convener of Housing and Social Work Services, said: "It is great to see the new homes taking shape and we look forward to welcoming people into the properties later this year.
"This redevelopment is taking place in the heart of the community and will help to meet local housing needs. We'll continue to invest in new housing and maintain our support to the local economy through jobs and business."
