Pinefield Glass Extends Skypod® Range

Construction News Image
Pinefield Glass has announced the expansion of its Skypod® skylights range.

The company, based in Elgin, Moray, has now added a two-bar pitched gable end design to its portfolio. The new design option from Eurocell eliminates the need for a central spider glazing bar, thereby further improving aesthetics as well as increasing natural light inside the home.

Skypod® is an innovative new skylight solution from Pinefield Glass that offers homeowners and developers a cost effective means of incorporating modern architectural design and thermal efficiency in flat-roofed rooms. The new two-bar gable design will join the existing three-bar version.

With its modern architectural design, Skypod® provides one of the most effective methods of adding a focal point to any new or existing flat-roofed room. Its innovative design means it can be fitted in just a few days, minimising disruption on site. Being available in a range of sizes, Skypod® can be used for a number of applications including extensions, orangeries, garden rooms, new build kitchen-diners and garage conversions.

Bryan Yule, Managing Director of Pinefield Glass, said: "We took the decision to offer our customers the two-bar Skypod® option because it maximises natural light inside a property and accentuates the architectural proportions. We have had a very positive response from homeowners and developers to the new addition."
