North Lanarkshire Council has reminded the local communities of Airdrie, Bellshill and Coatbridge, that the deadline for feedback for their town centre consultations is the end of this month.
In November 2014, the council published a draft Town Centre Frameworks and Action Plans for each town and allowed the local communities to view and comments on the documents. The documents are a blueprint for how the council and its partners will improve the environment, facilities and services in each town, and help meet the changing needs of shoppers, residents and businesses.
While many have already provided feedback on the plans, Councillor James Coyle, Convener of North Lanarkshire Council's Planning and Transportation Committee, said there is still time for others to share their views.
He added: "We have listened to the opinions and ideas of residents, community groups and businesses when we produced the Frameworks and Action Plans, so we think the proposals give a positive future for the town centres. However, it's important that the people who live and work there tell us what they think."
The deadline for feedback is 30 January 2015.
