Clyde Windows & Construction First Scottish Firm To Achieve Trusted Trader Status

Clyde Windows & Construction Ltd has become the first building firm in Scotland to have achieved accreditation to Which? magazine's Trusted Trader Programme.

It is also the first double glazing firm to achieve Trusted Trader status under the Government's Trading Standards 'Buy With Confidence' scheme.

After the firm made initial enquiries, it was inspected by an independent assessor from WHICH magazine, who went through the necessary processes. Months later, Clyde Windows & Construction was accepted as the first double glazing installer and building firm in Scotland to gain this acknowledgement. As the accreditation is monitored – to make sure all trusted traders are undertaken the works properly and to a high standard – the company has a strict code of conduct and guidelines from Which? that it needs to adhere to.

The family-run business supply and install high quality products throughout Scotland. It also manufactures all types of UPVC windows, including casement windows, tilt and turn windows and vertical sliding upvc windows.

From March 2014, Clyde Windows & Construction has been passed as a Trusted Trader for Renfrewshire Council, East Renfrewshire Council & Dundee City Council, with applications for many other programmes currently being processed by participating local authorities. In addition, since June 2014, the company has been named as a Trusted Trader for Which? who have put their members through rigorous assessment, meaning that consumers get the best service and Which? Trusted Traders get the business and recognition they deserve.
