Argyll and Bute Council has said it is to hold a number of public consultation events for two new secondary schools planned for the area.
Those behind the projects – the new Oban High School and Campbeltown Grammar School – now wish to hear the views of the local community.
In Oban, the new school would be located within the existing school site and land to the north east, at the current grass playing pitches at Dalintart/Glencruitten.
While in relation to Campbeltown Grammar School, it too would be constructed on the site of the existing school building and grounds.
The consultation events will allow the local community to view outline designs of the proposals and the associated works, as well as meet members of the project team.
The Oban High School consultation will take place on Tuesday 2 December in the McCaig Suite, Corran Halls, Oban between 10am and 8pm.
The Campbeltown Grammar School event will be held at the Conference Room in Aqualibrium on Wednesday 3 December, between 10am and 8pm.
The proposals can also be viewed online here.
