A public consultation is to be held in relation to a proposed new waste water pumping station in Newstead.
Scottish Water has organised the event which will take place next week.
If approved, the new pumping station would allow the utility provider to close its old waste water treatment works in the area.
The event will be held on Thursday 4 December at Newstead Village Hall, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
Members of the project team will be in attendance to discuss the project and answer any questions the community might have.
