The A890 Stromeferry Bypass has reopened overnight, the Highland Council has confirmed.

According to the local authority, slope stabilisation works at the site have been "completed sufficiently" in order to allow the road to partially reopen. The road will reopen overnight, but it is understood it will be another two to three weeks until the stabilisation works are fully completed.

The road will remain open throughout the remainder of the project, but traffic management will be in place. Motorists are warned to expect delays on the affected section of road – A890 between Ardnarff and Attadale – between 8am and 6pm.
