Alba Systems Ltd has recently completed a construction project for BMW's largest UK dealership, Synter Plc.

Alba, which is based in Glasgow, manufactures high quality Q-dek mezzanine floor solutions for a range of applications. This can include storage, office, retail and production environments.

Its project for Synter Plc, saw the firm construction a more unusual mezzanine floor as it needed to be designed to store BMWs when the vehicles arrive in the UK to be registered.

Stuart Torrance, sales director of Alba Systems, commented: "This was basically a multi-storey car park, assembled in an industrial unit, using proprietary mezzanine floor components. Using a mezzanine floor instead of traditional construction methods saved the client considerable expenditure."
