West Lothian Council has warned drivers to expect delays as carriageway resurfacing works begin in Broxburn.
The road works will result in the closure of Station Road from the junction with the A89 to Almondell Road.
Work is expected to begin at 08:00 on 17 November and run for three weeks, ending 18:00 on 8 December.
Alternative Routes will be available for all general traffic, the Council said.
From Station Road, traffic will be diverted via the A89 to Kilpunt roundabout then westbound onto the A899 towards East Main Street. The same diversion will also take place in reverse.
Residents and Emergency vehicles will still be able to access the road and pedestrians will not be affected.
