The newly-completed streetscape works in Kelso are to be unveiled later this week, it has been announced.

The new town square, as well as a newly-carved Kelso crest at the entrance to the Town Hall will be revealed by Kelso Laddie Ross Henderson, the local authority has said.

The £2m project was developed by the Scottish Borders Council (SBC) with the Kelso Stakeholders Group. The SBC also funded the initiative, alongside Historic Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The unveiling will take place on 30 October at 8.30pm.
