Dundee City Councillors are to discuss plans next week regarding a series of infrastructure improvement works to the Green Circular and Core Path.
If approved, around £8,000 will be invested to improve cyclist safety and access to the green spaces in the area. Signage along the Green Circular will also be addressed, as will current safety concerns.
Proposals to improve path surfaces at Caird Park, Drumsturdy Road, Mains Loan and Wester Gourdie Industrial Estate will also be discussed.
The improvement works follow a series of consultations with local residents.
Councillor Craig Melville, Environment Convener, said: "The Council is listening to the concerns of local residents. Dundee has a good network of footways and footpaths and it is important they are maintained.
"We need to get more people walking and cycling in the city and hopefully these improvements will act as an incentive."
