Plans to construct a new brewery in Inverness have been rejected by Highland Councillors, it is understood.
The proposals, by the owners of Glen Mhor Hotel, included demolishing a bar to allow the development to be created as part of the existing building.
Concerns regarding the plans had previously been raised by the Highland Council, such as the size of the development as well as parking availability.
However, following a site visit Councillors unanimously decided to turn down the proposals.
