To celebrate the opening, Clackmannanshire Council has said it is to host a community fun day at the Speirs Centre, as well as to allow the local community to have a look around the new facilities.

Welcoming the news, Council Leader Councillor Gary Womersley said: "This will be an exciting day for all of Clackmannanshire, as this important but previously underused historic building can now be enjoyed by the community and visitors for a wide range of services.
