Proposals to construct 55 new affordable homes in Saline, Fife, are to go on public display later this week.
Earlier this year, Kingdom Housing Association announced it had secured planning permission in principle to built up to 55 homes at a site on Oakley Road in the village.
The public consultation will allow the local community to see how the project has developed over the last few months, as well as being able to view and comment on the designs. Any feedback received will then be considered before the plans are finalised and submitted for approval.
If approved by Fife Council, Kingdom HA hopes to start work on site next year.
The event will be held at Saline Community Centre on Friday 26 September, from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. It will take the form of an informal drop-in session, and this will be followed by a round-table discussion at 6.30pm, chaired by David Chisholm of Saline & Steelend Community Council.
