A total of 27 new homes are to be constructed in Tullibody, Kingdom Housing Association has announced.
The £3m development, which will be located at Alloa Road, will consist of a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom houses and flats and meet a range of housing needs.
Seven flats in the development have been designed to meet the needs of older people, and those with mobility problems.
Partly funded by the Scottish Government, it is anticipated that works will commence on site in November 2014, with completion due in November 2015.
Bill Banks, Chief Executive at Kingdom HA, said: "We have worked with Clackmannanshire Council's housing service to plan for this project and we are very pleased that planning consent has been granted. Housing needs continue to grow across Scotland and this project will help to meet local needs in the area."
