Knightswood Tower Blocks To Be Demolished

Work to demolish two tower blocks at Knightswood has commenced by Glasgow Housing Association (GHA), it is understood.

Residents in numbers 240 and 280 Lincoln Avenue have been relocated from the properties. The demolition is part of a wider regeneration programme for the city, which also included bringing down two other tower blocks in Scotstoun recently.

It has been reported that Technical Demolition Services are carrying out a soft strip of the Lincoln Avenue blocks ahead of their demolition.
