A public meeting regarding works on the Third Don Crossing is to take place next week.
Those in the Bridge of Don and Danestone communities are being encouraged to attend the event where they can learn more about the project, associated construction works and any related mitigation measures.
The Third Don Crossing will see the construction of a new single carriageway link road created between the Parkway/Whitestripes Road junction and the Tillydrone Avenue/St Machar Drive junctions, while a new bridge will also be constructed.
Balfour Beatty has been appointed to build the new bridge over the River Don, a new stretch of road that will link it to the road network north of the Don, and realign and upgrade roads to the south of the river.
Work on the scheme is scheduled to begin later this year, with the bridge due to be substantially completed and open for use by late 2015.
The public meeting will take place next week (Monday 22 September) at the Bridge of Don Academy, Braehead Way, from 7pm to 9pm.
