A public consultation is to be held into a project that would see the Stronelairg wind farm connected to the National Grid.
The event has been organised by Scottish Hydro Electric (SHE) Transmission and will allow the local community the opportunity to view initial display plans for an electrical connection between the proposed wind farm and the existing infrastructure at Newtownmore.
The consultation will ask for opinions on two main aspects associated with the connection to the National Grid – a new transmission connection and a new substation – before further consultations and planning applications take place.
The drop-in event will be held at Laggan Village Hall on 9 October, from 2.30pm to 7.30pm.
