A road resurfacing scheme is to get underway at Dundas Street.
The work will begin from Monday 15 September and last for three weeks.
The project is part of Edinburgh Council's 2014/15 Capital Maintenance Programme, and will see the carriageway resurfaced on Dundas Street, between Fettes Row and the junction with Henderson Row.
Work is expected to be carried out between 7.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some work possibly taking place up to 10pm some evenings. No work will be undertaken at the weekend.
For the duration of the works, one traffic lane will be maintained in each direction under contraflow traffic management, while the permanent traffic lights at Henderson Row junction will continue to operate as normal. Right turns from Dundas Street into Eyre Place will not be allowed throughout the scheme.
The parking and taxi rank will also be suspended to allow the programme to take place, while temporary bus stops will be provided when the bus stops are out of commission. In addition, the local authority has said Fettes Row – to the east and west of Dundas Street – will need to close for a time. Diversions will be in place.
