East Dunbartonshire Council has launched a consultation regarding the future of Mugdock Country Park.
Some 270 hectares of woodland, open moorland, lochs and castles are included in the land, and the local authority is now wanting to hear from residents on how to shape the development of the park's facilities and services over the next few years.
Councillor Eric Gotts, Chair of the Mugdock Park Management Committee, encouraged the local community to get involved, saying: "Your opinion is of great importance as it will help us to shape the future of Mugdock Country Park.
"We are fortunate in East Dunbartonshire to have such a valuable resource within our reach. It is extremely popular with families and people of all ages seeking to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
"As well as offering a wealth of natural and built attractions, Mugdock Country Park hosts a varied range of cultural events throughout the year, as well as providing a base for businesses to undertake team building and development sessions.
"I hope as many people in East Dunbartonshire as possible can spare five minutes to complete the online survey and let us know their hopes and aspirations for the park moving forward."
The online survey can be accessed here.
The closing date for responses is 3 October 2014.
