Recruitment firm Hays has announced it is to move to a new 9,200 sq ft office space in Glasgow.

According to reports, the company will also be hiring more staff, following an increase in demand from construction firms.

Hays will move from its existing premises in Glasgow's West Regent Street, to the recently refurbished Spectrum building in Blythswood Street.

Akash Marwaha, Hays' Scotland managing director, is quoted as saying: "The Glasgow office has consistently delivered growth even throughout the downturn, and continues to be one of the top performing offices in the UK."
