A planning application for 28 new flats at Kings Park, Cathcart in Glasgow, has been submitted by Lawrence McPherson Associates.
The firm announced it had submitted the proposals on behalf of homebuilder Dickie and Moore Ltd.
The development would be located on the former Kings Park Bowling Club site which has lain vacant since the club closed 10 years ago.
It will consist of 24 two-bed apartments and four single-bed apartments. The flats are laid out in two four-storey blocks, running north to south, which provide the living accommodation with favourable western and easterly aspects. The buildings will have shallow pitched roofs, according to the designs car parking and access road is located between the blocks.
In addition, the flats are designed to maximise passive solar energy with large windows and sunspaces to the south, east and west with smaller windows to the north.
The development is just one of a number of projects Lawrence McPherson Associates (LMA) have designed for Dickie and Moore Ltd, which are currently on site, or in the design stages.
