A new 3G pitch has been installed at Lochgilphead Joint Campus, the local authority has said.
Earlier this year, following a life cycle review by Argyll & Bute Council and its project partner ABC Schools, it was decided to replace the old playing surface at the campus.
The new all-weather pitch can now accommodate a number of sports. Not only for use by pupils at Lochgilphead Joint Campus (LJC), but it will also be made available to sports clubs in the community.
The pitch is specifically suited for football, but can also accommodate hockey, shinty and athletics, as well as non-contact rugby training and activities such as tag/touch rugby.
The grass pitches at LJC are also being improved, with work being carried out to reseed the ground. They are currently closed to allow for the grass to regrow.
