A new 3,000-home development has been recommended for approval by planning officials at Aberdeen City Council.
According to reports, the 528-acre site would be located between Kingswells and Cults, to the west of Hazlehead Park. The development would have to meet certain conditions, however, such as having 25% of the homes set aside as affordable housing, while a contribution towards the cost of a travellers' site, the construction of a new school, library and community facilities would also be required.
In addition to the homes, it is thought the plans include offices, a shop and a hotel.
Councillors are to consider the report next week.
