Skate Park Plans Are Resubmitted

Plans to construct a new skate park in Jedburgh have been resubmitted, it is understood.

The proposals are to build the facility on a riverside area in the town.

Last year, an application was submitted by the Jed Skatepark Group to the Scottish Borders Council. It aimed to construct a grassy area, known as "the Dip", between the A68 and Jed Water but the plans were later withdrawn because of a technical issue.

Planning officials for the Council will now consider the new plans.
