A multi-purpose community hub has been proposed for Woodburn, Midlothian.
The plans, put forward by Dalkeith Miners Welfare, would be located on land known as Teletubby Hill. The land is owned by the Miners Club.
It is understood Midlothian Council is supportive of the idea, but the organisation wants to hear from the local community as the planning phase of the project gets underway, adding that it wants to ensure "any development is in response to the needs of local people, filling gaps and complementing existing facilities and services in the area."
In order to collate feedback, the Dalkeith Miners Club has launched a survey. Paper copies can be completed and returned to Dalkeith Miners Club, while completed online questionnaires are collected automatically. They can be found here.
