Plans for a scaled-down wind farm development in the Scottish Borders have been submitted.
Initially, those behind the plans – West Coast Energy Ltd – wanted to build 11 turbines at Hag Law in Peeblesshire, but a revised application made to the local authority now plans to construct eight turbines of each 100m tall. The proposals also suggest a new site access off the A701 Edinburgh to Moffat Road.
