Official statistics released by Registers of Scotland (RoS) show that the property market is showing signs of consolidated growth.
In the fourth quarter of 2014, there was a 22.9% increase in residential properties sold, when compared to the same period in 2013.
The figures also show that in the period January to March of this year some 17,828 properties changed hands: the highest for this time period since 2007.
The RoS figures cover all residential sales, including those that did not involve a mortgage.
The full list of figures can be found at the RoS website.
