Balfour Beatty Wins £1.2m Contract

A roads contract worth £1.2m has been won by construction firm Balfour Beatty.

The contract will see the firm upgrade the A75 Garroch roundabout, which will improve access to a new 350-bed general hospital in southern Scotland.

The contract for the construction of the new hospital is to be awarded next year, with Balfour Beatty in contention for that contract also.
