Designs showing the proposed layout of West Dunbartonshire Council's new multi-million care home and day centre are to go on display to members of the public.
Residents are invited to attend an Open Meeting on Thursday, 12 June at the Crosslet Centre, Crosslet Road, Dumbarton from 7pm to 9pm where residents can view artist's impressions of the new buildings including examples of the internal and external layout of the home.
The plans show the layout has been designed to utilise the outside space to create partially enclosed safe and accessible communal courtyards where residents can enjoy the stunning views over Dumbarton.
Councillor Gail Casey, Convener of West Dunbartonshire's Community Health and Care Partnership, said: "The Council is committed to providing quality, safe and comfortable accommodation for our elderly residents and these plans have received excellent feedback from the Care Inspectorate. The exhibition shows modern buildings set within a peaceful location with stunning views over Dumbarton and I am sure the public will be impressed with the proposals. I would encourage residents to attend the meeting and share their thoughts and views on the draft plans."
