Visitor Numbers Increase For Home Improvement Show

There has been an increase in visitor numbers to this year's Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating and Home Improvement Show.

The Show was held at the SECC in Glasgow from 17-18 May and saw its visitor numbers rise by 7% to 7,573. The event is Scotland's largest consumer exhibition for self-builders, home renovators and improvers, with more than 130 specialist companies, 1,000s of products and expert advice available. From under floor heating to solar panels, there were products for every project as well as expert advice at the show's ever-popular seminars and masterclasses.

Commenting on the event, Director of the Show, Nick Noble, said: "The SECC show was a great success. Visitors enjoyed their visit, with many coming along for two days, while exhibitors reported excellent results."

Mr Noble added that the show will return later this year for its new Edinburgh show, as well as back to the SECC in May 2015.

The new Edinburgh show will be held at The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh on 25 & 26 October; while next year's event will be at the SECC, Glasgow on May 16 and 17 2015.
