Fife Council has confirmed the Limekilns Road in Dunfermline is to close for approximately two weeks to allow essential roadworks to take place.
The closure will be in place from Monday 19 May.
The move comes after the local authority received a number of complaints from residents regarding the condition of the road. Fife Council has, as a result, taken the decision to resurface the road before the Dunfermline Flood Prevention works recommence.
A temporary traffic diversion will be in place for the duration of the scheme, with motorists being redirected via the A985.
